Abstinence

1. 1 Thessalonians 5:22

Abstain from every form of evil.

2. 1 Timothy 4:3

Men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.

But that we write to them that they abstain from things contaminated by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood.
