“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Jos 1:8; emp added). According to God, the prerequisite for success is to stay focused on His Word, the Bible. If you want to be successful in any area of your life, you must be familiar with the Bible. You must not only read it but study it regularly. To meditate is to reflect, contemplate or keep your mind on something. It means to think about it and let it be part of you. Everything you can feel and touch was made from the spiritual world (Heb 11:3). God spoke, and things were made. It is the same Word we have with us today as Holy Scriptures. Scriptures say to be carnally minded is dead (Rom 8:6). And if you lie according to the flesh you will die (Rom 8:13). Are you struggling in any area of your life? Try studying the Bible because the second part of Rom 8:13 says if we live by the Spirit, we can out to death the deeds of the body and live. I encourage you to look into the Bible and you will overcome many of today’s challenges.
The more of God’s Word we have, the greater the victories we will have. Stay in the Word. Lock the Word in your heart. Meditate upon it and walk by it. (Matt 4:4, Deut 8:3).
