Clarification

✅ 3 John 1:2 — “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” True prosperity begins with the soul. Material blessings are tools for God’s purposes, not ends in themselves.
✅ Prosperity = wholeness: spiritual vitality + emotional peace + relational health + ethical provision + generous stewardship. Always pair these prayers with hard work, integrity, wise stewardship, and cheerful giving — God’s blessing rests on the obedient heart .
✅ Warning: Wealth without wisdom destroys. Pray also for contentment, humility, and the fear of the Lord — Proverbs 15:16 — “Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble with it.”
