The Success of a Faithful Person.

I want to share one word that can greatly impact your life with you. It is a word that embraces character, which many do not assume today. It is the word Faithful. A faithful person is much better off than a successful person. You might be successful in one area, but you will not succeed in all areas if you are not faithful. Some of the characteristics of a faithful person are:

  • They are disciplined.
  • They are obedient. They obey exactly what God, their employer or their leader tells them to do.
  • They show respect for authority.
  • They show up on time.
  • They keep their word.

The word success is only mentioned in the Bible in Joshua 1:8, but the one faithful is mentioned 141 times. Proverbs 20:6 says, “Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, but who can find a faithful man?” In other words, it is scarce to find a faithful person. Jesus said in Luke 16:10, “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.”

Scriptures for Meditation

  • “A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.” (Pro 28:20). Notice, it says he will abound with blessings, not one but multiple blessings. You will be blessed in all areas when you are faithful.
  • Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person.” (Ps 31:23).
  • A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness will utter lies.” (Pro 14:5). You can be a successful person and be a liar simultaneously. Most people lie in life, which will catch up on them sooner or later but not faithful people. Faithfulness is a godly characteristic and should be valued. You won’t need to ask for a raise at your workplace because they will notice the difference. You will surely be rewarded for your faithfulness. Strive to be counted as a faithful person, and you will exceed in life and please God.
