“This man went up from his city yearly to worship and sacrifice to the Lord of hosts in Shiloh. Also the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord, were there.” (1 Sam 1:3). There was a man named Elkanah, who once in a year would visit Shiloh with his family. This became a ritual for them. They never missed the opportunity to visit Shiloh each year. Hannah had every reason not to visit Shiloh with the family, but she still showed up.
How would Hannah have gotten her blessing of an opened womb if she hadn’t shown up at Shiloh those particular years? She would have missed it. Likewise, God is only waiting for the right moment to bless you. It is your responsibility, therefore, to also visit His presence each year to call on Him. Make it a ritual to always show up, regardless of the peculiar circumstances. Show up, or else you will miss your miracle and visitation. How will you be blessed when you refuse to show up before God to receive His blessings? Nothing should be a limitation to you appearing before God at your “Shiloh”. Just show up.
