“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined at God has prepared for those who love him!” (1 Cor 2: 9). God has excellent plans for you! But if you are not connected to Him, you lose out on everything He wants to do in your life. God made you to do great things, far greater than you could imagine. In fact, if God showed you what He wants to do with your life when you completely place it in His hands, it would astound you! Maybe you have been disconnected from God for many years, and you think it’s too late for him to use you. It’s not too late. He is your Creator. He sees you as highly valuable, and He knows your potential. If you surrender every part of your life to Him, you shall see the things prepared for you come to pass.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” (Jer 29: 11). Before you were born, God thought up his dream for your life. But so often in life, we focus on our dreams instead of what God has planned for us. We think we know better than God what will make us happy and fulfilled. You need God’s dreams for your life more than your dream. Why? Because God knows you much better than you know yourself. And He knows how His dream for your life fits into the bigger plan He has for the world. You cannot know everything, and you can’t have the proper perspective all the time – but God does. God’s dream from your life consists of goals and plans that He created you to fulfil, and His dream is far more important than your dreams.
