Psalm 4:8 “I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

This Scripture teaches us that God makes us sleep in peace. David didn’t have trouble sleeping. You are not to toss and turn throughout the night. People accept all kinds of things to explain why they cannot sleep at night. Yes, you must do your part. For example, drinking caffeine will not make you sleep, and there are side effects of medications that can also affect your sleep pattern. I try to separate the natural from the supernatural permanently. If you sleep too much during the day and find yourself idle, you may not be able to sleep at night. Someone with drug problems, pregnant women, the type of bed you sleep on, and the environment can all contribute to our lack of good sleep. If you remove some of these natural obstacles, you should be able to sleep well, according to the Bible.

Example of bad dreams:

• Eating and drinking in your dreams.
• Going back to school.
• When you constantly dream of your childhood days.
• Having sexual intercourse in your dreams
• Consistently writing exams in your dreams
• Sleeping with animals in your dreams
• Bathing in a river in your dreams

The good news is that through the blood of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit, we can overcome such dreams. Do not disregard any dreams or nightmares and assume nothing happened. It is good to write about your dreams, whether good or bad. I have a drawer at the edge of my bed to write inspirational things. When we are still in bed, this is where God starts speaking to our hearts, so it is always good to document spiritual things.

1. In the name of Jesus, I shut my mouth against any food and all kinds of drinks. I reject the invitation for evil celebration in Jesus’ name.

2. Satan, you came to steal, kill and destroy and I will not be part of it. Because of the BLOOD of Jesus, I cancel your plot and block all your entrances to my life. You will not steal my night in Jesus’ name (See John 10:10).

3. I will not panic, scream or have any nightmares again. With light or no lights, I shall not be afraid. By prayer and the BLOOD, I sentence any form of fear and terror in Jesus’ name(See 2 Tim 1:7).Every man or woman sent to have intercourse with me in my sleep, freeze now in Jesus’ name. I used divine scissors to chop all your private parts into pieces.

4. I sleep in stillness and comfort; my mind doesn’t wander because Jesus is my God. Every demon behind my nightmares perishes now in Jesus’ name.

5. Every dream in my past, affecting my future, be erased forever in Jesus’ name.

6. Let all arrows, gunshots, wounds, harassment, opposition in my dreams return to the sender in the name of Jesus.

7. Every sickness and disease infused into my system during my dreams be flashed out now in Jesus’ name.

8. I abort every pregnancy from evil dreams. I terminate every contract that makes me a guardian to any spiritual child or children in Jesus’ name.
