I believe that the one God eternally exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and that these three are one God, co-equal and co-eternal, having precisely the same nature and attributes, and worthy of precisely the same worship, confidence, and obedience. I believe in the Eternal Godhead Who has revealed Himself as One God existing in Three Persons- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. That the Triune God is distinguishable but indivisible. Matthew 3:16, 17; Matthew 28:19, 20; Mark 12:29; John 1:14; Acts 5:3, 4; II Corinthians 13:14.
1 . The Bible
I believe in the verbal inspiration of the Scriptures. All Scriptures are infallible and constitute the sole and final authority on all matters of Christian faith and conduct. (2 Tim. 3: 16; 1 Cor. 2: 13).
2. God Created The World & All That Is In It.
I believe that God created the world and formed man in it. That God knew before the foundation of the world that man would sin against Him, so He planned to redeem humanity even before He created Him. Scriptures: (Psalm 24, Psalm 19:1)
3. The Death and Bodily Resurrection of Jesus.
That Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose on the third day. The Lord Himself testified that He died and rose again. “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” (Rev 1:18). Luke the physician recorded Jesus’ saying. “Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” (Luke 24:39). The Lord appeared to many other people including Mary Magdalene (John 20:14-16), He appeared to Mary the Mother Of James, Salome, and Joanna (Matt 28:9). He appeared to Peter (Luke 24:34) and many other people. I believe in the deity of Christ that He is the Saviour of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He was entirely God and fully Man when He walked on the earth. I believe Jesus ascended bodily to Heaven, and He will come and take the Church unto Himself. Scriptures (1 Cor. 15:1-4; Rom. 4:25, Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14-18, John 14:2,3; I Thess. 4:13-18).
4. Salvation By Grace, Not Works.
I believe in the salvation of sinners by grace through faith and that it is not of ourselves but the gift of God. No human being is beyond the redemption plan of God. God desires to save all men who come to Him in humility.
5. I believe in Water Baptism (Immersion)
I believe that after salvation, all Christians should be water baptised as the Lord Himself did. (Matt 3:16-17)
6. I believe in the Holy Spirit Baptism
I believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and that any Christian who doesn’t have that baptism cannot be successful and walk in victory no matter how well they discipline themselves. I believe in the spiritual language of tongues that it edifies as when we speak it. It is Holy Spirit who is in control when we pray in the spirit. Scriptures (Eph. 2:8,9; Heb. 9: 12,22; Romans 5:11, Matt. 28: 19; Acts 2:34-36; 19: 1-6, Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; Galatians 3:14-15).
7. A Christian Must Live a Godly Life.
After salvation, Christians should live a holy life; they must show through their life that the Holy Spirit lives in them, and they cannot do what they please.
8. That The Gifts of The Spirits Have Not Ceased.
I believe in the gifts of God and that they have not ceased. That God has gifted the Body of Christ with many gifts, including working miracles, healings, Word of Knowledge, prophecies etc. Scriptures (Eph. 5:18; 2 Cor. 6:14; 7:1, in 1 Cor. 12-14, Acts 4:30; 1 Cor. 12:9).
9. I believe in the Holy Communion.
I believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called the Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper for believers.
10. I believe There Are Evil Spirits In This World
I believe that innumerable evil spirits are abiding on this earth, and they aim to bring destruction or abort God’s plan for His children. Satan is the mastermind behind all evil. The devil will be judged and be cast into the Lake of Fire perpetually. (1 Cor. 11:28-32; Matt. 26:28, Matt. 25:41; Rev. 20:14,15, 2 Thess. 1:9; Rev. 20:10-15).
11. I believe in Heaven and Hell.
I believe in Eternal Life for the believer and Eternal Suffering for the unbelievers. Heaven and Hell depend on who you put your trust in. (John 14:2-4, Matt 5:16,45,48, Matt 6:1,9, Matt 7:11,21, Matt 10:32,33; Matt 12:50, Matt 16:17, Matt 18:10,11, Mk 11:26, Mk 11:32; Lk 11:2). He also spoke about Hell. Please see (Matt 5:22, 29-30; Matt 10:28, Matt 11:23, Matt 16:18; Matt 18:9, Matt 23:15; 23:33; Mk 9:43, 9:45-47; Lk 10:15; 12:5, 16:23).
12. That Jesus Purchased The Church With His Own Blood.
The Body of Christ consists of all Christians who make up the true universal Church. Jesus bought the Church with His own blood. He is, therefore, the Head of the Church. Even though we consist of many bodies, Jesus is our Leader. (Acts 15:33; with Matt. 16: 18; 18: 15-20).
13. I believe in the Five-Fold Ministry.
I believe in the five-fold ministry. That Jesus Himself calls people to be Apostles, Prophet, Teachers, Pastors and Evangelist to equip the saints for ministry. (Eph 4:11).
14. God Ordained Secular Government
I believe that God ordains the secular Government, and to resist Government is to resist God. The Christian is to respect authority and pray for leaders whether they are Christians or not. “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and God appoints the authorities that exist. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore, you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’s sake. For because of this, you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honour to whom honour.” (Romans 13:1-7).
