“Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity 38 years. (John 5 : 5). The man Jesus healed in John chapter 5 was only identified as a “certain man with an infirmity of 38 years.” His name was never mentioned anywhere in the Bible, neither his tribe nor heritage. He was simply identified by his problem. Now , you may relate to this. You may only be identified as the “single and not married,” and you may actually be settling for that identity. These are schemes of the devil, meant to keep you trapped in the problem, to take away your esteem and to strangulate your faith. The day is now when you will rise above that problem , God will instantly transform your life and make you whole again. Your original God- given identity will be restored IJN.
