“May we shout for joy when we hear your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the Lord answer your prayers. ” (Ps 20 : 5). Psalms 20 starts with a request and ends with a request as David sought the victory of the Lord in his distress. In his distress , he did four things to position himself to raise his victory banner.
I. He recognized the source of his blessing.
II. He remained the Lord’s sanctuary.
III. He rendered sacrifices to God .
And he made his supplications known unto God . Whenever you are in a distress or in a confused state , looking for a solution for your problems, looking for a solution for yourself or for others who are entangled with life’s problems, always refer to this Scripture and the Lord will come through for you. You also shall raise your victory banner in Jesus name. Your victory is embedded in His Word and His faithfulness. Put your trust in God, that He will bring an end to that anxiety and depression.
