Part 1 (A)
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, my great army which I sent among you.” (Joel 2:25).
Samson lost his strength and might, and for some of us, it was our jobs, money or even salvation. But this is not the end. Samson, even with his eyes put out was still able to receive restoration from the Lord. This shows that no matter how terrible your situation is, restoration can be your portion! Samson prayed and asked the Lord to remember him and the Lord restored him and the strength one time. It may look like it is already late, but I encourage you to engage God. Ask Him to remember you and to restore to you what you have lost!
Part B
Understand this, when we ask for something from the Lord, there is no guarantee the answer will be what we want. His ways are always higher than ours, and we may not understand His purpose in any situation. We can be sure that He is faithful, though, and trust that any answer we receive will be for His glory and in our best interest.
